Inderly is a family-run IT support company for businesses and non-profits in Toronto, Hamilton, and across Ontario. We do full service tech support on the Cloud Office system. Systems Administrator (client-facing)

This role is both technical and client-facing, because you will be responsible for many levels of IT support. In other words, at times you will help spin up new servers, and resolve complex issues. Other times you will work our help desk. However, those times are separate and scheduled, so that you can plan your work day. Above all, we need you to be able to manage the technical side of things but also understand the client’s point of view. This is because IT support is about people first.

Roles and responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO, you will:

  • Respond to client questions via telephone and our ticketing system
  • Learn to deploy and support all systems
  • Anticipate and troubleshoot issues so we can resolve them quickly
  • Jump in to any role needed to help our team get the job done
  • Help maintain servers, security systems, and backups
  • Follow our operating procedures closely, and make suggestions so we can all improve


  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • 3-5 years experience in IT support
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with our services
  • People skills
  • Excellent Googling ability
  • Comfortable being upfront and asking for help
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ticketing and remote access tools
  • Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, backup tools, and Microsoft Office 365

Assets (not required, but nice to have)

  • Your own car
  • Certifications: CCNA, Network+, CompTIA A+
  • Degree or diploma in information technology, computer science, engineering, or business
